- By using an electric cooktop you can produce a wide spectrum of heat levels. Furthermore, there is a big range of prices and heating elements you can choose from. The most common are: Coil elements, most economical and fast cooking. Radiant heating elements, nice style and are easy to clean. Solid disk elements, though not so common they provice consistent heating and simple cleanup.
- Decide what cooktop size is ideal for your place. The size ranges vary from 26 up to 40 inches, however most common ones are 30 and 36 inches and 22 inches in depth.
- Pre-determine your needs. Define the number of burners you want, lock controls, indicator lights, removable knobs. Decide before actually seeing the various models so you don't spend more money because you're excited about everything they offer!
